Unless given by email or through one of our Customer Experience team members, we do not accept any coupons or discounts. We always try to deliver premium quality at an incredible everyday value. Only one promotion can be used per transaction. Discounts only valid on full priced items.

What?!! If, for any reason, you or the recipient are not fully satisfied with your order, immediately shoot us an email at hello@municipal.com and we will make it right!

Unfortunately, we don't currently take orders over the phone but if you would like, you can email us at hello@municipal.com and we'd be happy to create an order for you and email you the invoice.

Yes, MUNICIPAL supports those working and dedicating their lives to careers in service and leadership. All military, medical providers, nurses, first responders, fire, police, government employees, and teachers will receive a permanent 20% discount on our store through ID.me. Our current sizing in tops ranges from S-3XL. MUNICIPAL bottoms sizing ranges from 30-40 and S-3XL.

Shipping

We don’t currently ship outside of the U.S. (and Puerto Rico) for orders placed on MUNICIPAL.com, but are working hard to offer international shipping in the coming years.We did just launch our MUNICIPAL Canada site (ca.municipal.com) and now offer shipping throughout Canada.

We offer expedited shipping methods for an additional charge. All expedited orders that are placed on Friday after 12pm PST or during the weekend will ship the following Monday.

Unless a future ship date is noted on the product page, your new Sport Utility Gear will ship generally within 1-3 business days from our warehouse located in San Diego, CA and arrive within 3-10 business days. Need it faster? We offer expedited shipping options in checkout.

Orders placed with express shipping before 12:00 PM PST will ship the same business day. Anything placed after 12:00 PM PST will ship the next business day.

You can track your package from the shipping confirmation email you'll receive once your order ships. You can also find this information when you log into your account on MUNICIPAL.com

Sometimes packages will be marked as delivered before they are dropped off. Please wait 24 hours to see if your items are delivered. If they are not, please check with your neighbors, this is a common delivery practice. If your order cannot be found please contact us at hello@municipal.com with your order number and we will do our best to help locate your package.

MUNICIPAL orders don't come with a pricing itemized receipt. So your brother-in-law won't know how much you paid for his new, hyped MUNICIPAL gear. You'll just have to tell him.

Returns

Our holiday return window is extended to 90 days from the original fulfillment date and is from November 1, 2024 to February 15, 2025. We will accept all unworn and unwashed items within 90 days from the original fulfillment date. As a note, all items marked as final sale are not applicable for returns or exchanges.

You can return any item within 60 days from the original date of fulfillment. We will accept all unworn and unwashed items within 60 days from the original date of fulfillment. You can start a return or exchange by going to municipal.com/returns. Be sure to have your order number and shipping zip code on hand!

Sometimes (very rarely ;)) you need to return and that's ok! We've made returns easy as 1,2,3…

Step 1: Put the items back into the original packaging.
Step 2: Go to municipal.com/returns and begin your return or exchange.
Step 3: Download your prepaid shipping label and drop off your package at the nearest USPS location and we'll handle the rest.

Yes! You can begin a regular or gift exchange at municipal.com/returns. If you need assistance with a gift exchange, email us at hello@municipal.com.

Please reach out to hello@municipal.com and we'll make sure you're refunded for your first pair. All other pairs can be returned if they are unworn and are in their original polybag within 60 days of the order-fulfillment date. Once underwear has been removed from a polybag, we consider it worn, and it will not qualify as a return. Still curious if your underwear qualifies for a return? Email us!

We got you! As part of our Underwear "Try Me" Guarantee, your first pair of underwear is on us! Reach out to hello@municipal.com and we'll help get you a replacement or full refund.

Do not send back any underwear that you tried on.

Try your shoes on carpet first to make sure they fit. If the bottom of the shoes are scuffed, we cannot accept a return or exchange. If you need to make a return or exchange, go to MUNICIPAL.com/returns to start the process.

Please be sure to include all items listed below in undamaged condition in your return, otherwise, a return/exchange cannot be accepted:

  • shoes
  • both pairs of laces
  • zippered shoe bag
  • shoe box

International

No. The referral program is only available within the US. Referral codes cannot be redeemed within the MUNICIPAL Canada website.

No. Customers will need to create a separate account for MUNICIPAL Canada as our customer data is not shared between the two sites.

No. All discounts and promotions are completely separate between U.S. & Canada websites.
